The 2009 Hap Dumont 12U Stae Tournament will begin no earlier than Friday July 10th. The tournament will be played at the "Green Sports Complex", located at 2006 East 6th Street , in Pratt, Kansas. Tournament play will be; pool play - followed by a single elimination tournament. The pool selection and seeding format for the single elimination tournament will be set by the Kansas NBC Hap Dumont committee. 1.) Games will be played according to the 2009 NBC Hap Dumont Rule Book.
2.) Games will be 6 Innings, no time limits.
3.) Run Rules: 15 after 3 innings 10 after 4 innings
4.) The EH can be used.
5.) Pitching Limits: No pitcher shall pitch in more than 6 innings in 2 consecutive games (1 pitch is an inning)
6.) Courtesy runners will be allowed.
7.) Line-up information will be required and turned into both the scorekeeper and the Plate umpire. Information needed: Players first and last name, position and uniform number.
8.) Home team will be determined by a coin flip prior to each game. Meet at the bracket area 1 hour prior to game time to complete the coin flip.
9.) Home team will take the third base dugout visiting team will take the first base dugout.
10.) No infield warm-up will be allowed.
11.) Batting line-up changes must be reported to the Plate umpire.
